10 Days Tanzania Honeymoon Adventure

Day 1: Arusha

Pickup from the airport and transfer to your hotel. Once at the hotel you will be met by your safari consultant to talk about your safari. Get time to relax after your long trip to Tanzania. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant's herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you'll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. After the excitements of the day you will drive to karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to a descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km2 wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

This day starts with a relaxing breakfast at your hotel followed by a drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Take a breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery rolling into the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will head in the central part of the park known as the Seronera circuit which is very rich in wildlife habitat, the place is featured by the Seronera River that provides Water for the Animals. You will spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of the predators. You might have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.

Day 5 & 6: Serengeti National Park

We have two full days waking up early morning for game drive in the Serengeti plains. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert. After breakfast you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.

Day 7: Serengeti to Zanzibar

Say goodbye to the Serengeti and drive to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar.

Day 8 & 9: Zanzibar

Time to spend precious time at one of the best beaches in the world. You will spend these days relaxing at the beach hotel handpicked for the special needs of honeymooners. Any other activities and tours can be arranged by our travel experts; including Spice Plantation, Stonetown tour, the Dolphin tour a tour of Prison Island or Jozani forest depending on your preferences. The safari blue or a sunset dhow ride is also other activities that can be arranged. Overnight at a beach hotel, Booked on Half board with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 10: Zanzibar - Back Home

Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your International flight back home.
