Drive from Arusha to Lake Natron visiting Batemi / Sonjo tribe. Camping. FB (B L D). Visit Lake Natron and rare ecosystem. Prepare visit to Batemi tribe for next day.
Spend the day with the Batemi tribe. Camping. FB (B L D). Flexibility to move to other place if you have seen enough of Batemi/Maasai tribes. Tribal highlights: need to reproduce traditional female hairstyle (photo), young men similar to Maasai but different style. Must organise all day before upon arrival. Explore remote Maasai community if needed.
Drive from Lake Natron to Lake Eyasi visiting Datoga (blacksmiths). Camping. FB (B L D). Tribal highlights: Datoga are top tribe because of rare circle eye scarification and pierced earlobes with interesting metal earrings, rare leather skirts. Dance can be organized (extra payment).
Visit the Hadzabe (hunters). Camping. FB (B L D). Tribal highlights: interesting click language still vibrant, primitive people leaving in basic huts, excellent hunters.
Drive from Lake Eyasi to Tabora visiting Wataturu and Sukuma Tribes. Camping. FB (B L D). Tribal highlights: women with heavy metal anklets, rare scarification around eyes (both men and women), interesting vernacular architecture, possible dance (extra payment).
Spend the day with the tribe (Wataturu). Camping. FB (B L D)
Drive to the Sukuma Home stays, visiting Sukuma tribe. Camping. FB (B L D). Tribal highlights: young men fully decorated, possible warrior dance (maybe extra payment), women with short hair and beaded necklaces.
Drive from Tabora to Mwanza. FB (B L D) dinner and overnight at single cabins at Waghill.
This will be the last day of your trip as you take a flight from Mwanza to either Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam depends with where your departure flights take off.
