2-Day Saadani National Park Safari Adventure

Embark on an exciting 2-day safari to Saadani National Park, Tanzania's unique coastal wildlife sanctuary where the beach meets the bush. This journey takes you from Dar es Salaam to the only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa that boasts an Indian Ocean beachfront.

Experience thrilling game drives, boat safaris, and the unique opportunity to combine wildlife viewing with coastal relaxation. This safari offers excellent opportunities to observe a variety of wildlife including giraffes, buffalo, warthogs, antelopes, and primates, along with the chance to enjoy snorkeling and dolphin sightings in the Indian Ocean.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Saadani National Park

Depart Dar es Salaam at 8:00am to Saadani National Park with lunch packed. Saadani is where the beach meets the bush. The only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa to boast an Indian Ocean beachfront, it possesses all the attributes that make Tanzania's tropical coastline and islands so popular with European sun-worshippers. Enjoy sunset game viewing in the park before checking into your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day Saadani National Park and Drive to Dar es Salaam

Early morning sunrise game viewing, back to the Camp/Lodge for breakfast. Enjoy Full day game drives and boat safaris with a picnic lunch. A surprisingly wide range of grazers and primates is seen on game drives, among them giraffe, buffalo, warthog, common waterbuck, reedbuck, hartebeest, wildebeest, red duiker, greater kudu, eland, sable antelope, yellow baboon and velvet monkey. You can of course enjoy the beach of the Indian Ocean, but also go out for a sea trip to the sand banks off-shore which provides good snorkeling and some chances of meeting the dolphins. Later after your spectacular game drive you will set off to Dar es Salaam where you will be dropped at the agreed point.
