Known as the "Coca-Cola Route," the Marangu Route is Kilimanjaro's oldest and most established trail, famous for its comfortable hut accommodations. This 5-6 day itinerary provides a more sheltered climbing experience with dormitory-style huts at each camp. While shorter than other routes, it still offers spectacular views as you pass through rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert zones before reaching the arctic summit. The Marangu Route is ideal for those who prefer more comfort and shelter during their climb.
